What was it/what is it like to work at a museum? What did you specialize in? Where did you work? Any fun stories?
Hi, I worked in two museums as a collections manager (archaeologist). It was a bit boring because of lack of funding and therefore lack of exhibit rotation. Developing new exhibits is the best part and managing the collections (preservation, new aquisitions) was the greatest challenge. No great stories just a lot of the question Do you dig up dinosaurs? (I'm an archaeologist). Lots of school tours and parents feeding their kids misinformation.
