Does varnishing fimo make the fimo stronger?

i made a small guitar out of fimo, then put it in the oven, and its all very strong, but i feel that the thinner parts of the guitar are more fragile. will varnishing the fimo with special spray make it stronger?

if not, what does harden the fimo?
